Review of The Way Back (2011) by Grant S — 30 Mar 2012
Interesting movie, based on an apparently true story. Story is quite amazing, and, if true, would amount to about the most incredible feat of survival in history. However, Hollywood is currently full of survival movies, diluting the originality and novelty of this.
Solid direction from Peter Weir, though movie could have been shorter. Great scenery and cinematography.
Good performances all round.
