Review of The Way Back (2011) by Jeremy J — 04 May 2011
Not a bad movie, but it kind of felt like a test of stamina just to watch. There was a lot of the same thing (walking, suffering, starving) happening in different environments. I found myself inventing plot twists that never panned out just to make the story a little more interesting.
The characters, though purposely distant, never really significantly interacted with each other nor bonded. Still a great story of the strength of the human spirit.
