Review of The Way Back (2011) by Axel J — 11 Jun 2011
A film abouzt an escape from an gulag could be a depressing, frustrating, unpleasant thing to see in a movie. But Weir turned into a view on the strangth of humans. Once again a silent film, with many amazing, breath taking moments.
Once again he shows, that there is no need to blow up things to create big effects. I loved that move, saw it several times, and it's just the sort of film I want to see.
