I enjoyed this. I really did. Good acting, visually compelling, strong story. But for whatever reason, I just didn't connect with the characters. I didn't know who they all were for quite a while after the escape.
They were just hard to keep track of, and there was a bit too much confusion. For a while there, I was unsure as to whether or not Mark Strong's character joined in on the escape. Oh well. Good movie regardless, but missing something key for me.
And I can't put my finger on what exactly that is.
