Review of The Way Back (2010) by Stephen D — 02 Mar 2012
A film about epic journeys, internal struggles, forgiveness, and dare is say it, comradeship. Brilliantly shot by Australian cinematographer russell Boyd, the amazing scenery is beautifully captured with brilliant choice in lens and composition.
The story draws you in, it drags you into this journey and whilst part of you yearns for the journey to be over, your empathy for the characters drives you to follow it through all the trials and makes the ending so much more rewarding.
