Review of The Way Back (2010) by Paul K — 01 Aug 2014
Exceptional scenes and cinematography, at times it really felt like a national geographic film. The movie lacks any character development and often times cuts short crucial scenes (i.e., traveling in the Gobi desert takes 30-40 minutes of the film while hiking through the Himalayas is done in the last 3 minutes).
Great casting, but it does little when Peter Weir hardly uses them for the story.
