Review of The Way (2010) by Pedro G — 27 Oct 2011
The Way - Rating 7.0 When his son dies in an accident while walking from France through the Pyrenees on The Camino de Santiago, Tom (Martin Sheen) goes to St Jean Pied de Port to bring back his sons remains.
The accident forces Tom, an eye doctor, to recollect the disagreements he had with his only son, played by Emilio Estevez about how he lived his life. Once he collects his son's belongings Tom embarks on the adventure of his life.
Along the way, he meets some interesting characters, each dealing with their own demons. We enjoyed this drama, adventure, comedy very much. The scenery is breathtaking, awe inspiring and made us think about taking up a similar challenge.
