I loved how truthfully the community aspect of the pilgrimage is brought forth - the interacting that we miss so much here in the U.S. Martin Sheen's character felt a little too forced or perhaps I never really saw the inner reflection which I believe the movie meant to bring forth as I was left wanting with his character (which in some way is wonderful).
I really honor Mr. Estevez for creating something which examines Spiritual exploration in a different way while really cherishing our human healing and connection.
