Review of The Waterboy (1998) by David S — 12 Mar 2015
The Waterboy has some very enjoyable tongue-in-cheek scenes and concepts. Without taking itself too seriously, it carries some great quotable scenes, making it one of the few decent Adam Sandler movies.
Whilst the story is somewhat predictable, the unorthodox style of story, and the emphasis on character differences really help project the final product as a single enjoyable piece. It is not mind-blowing, but it is a good day-time watch.
