Review of The Water Diviner (2014) by Bethany N — 07 Apr 2015
A poetic and fairly entertaining tale of a Australian father searching for his fallen children on the battlefields of Gallipoli 4 years after the war.
Even though at times the film feels more like a BBC drama than a motion picture Russell Crowe shows he has some talent behind the camera as well as in front of it and though this film has a few unanswered Questions and a ending that feels flat and badly handled it's a entertaining piece and look forward to see what else Crowe has to offer in the directors chair!.
