Review of The Water Diviner (2014) by Patrick K — 18 Apr 2015
Russell Crowe's directional debut is actually even more entertaining than the trailer had you believe as he plays Connor the father of 3 who goes on a quest to find his sons who were listed M.I.A. after the Battle of Gallipoli and after his wife took her own life finding what really happened to his sons whether dead or alive would give him true closure.
Set in Australia and Turkey the film is beautiful as it is entertaining and whilst not as gritty and painful as many war films over the years its still very well done.
