Review of The Water Diviner (2014) by Daniel S — 22 Apr 2015

I really hadn't even heard of this until I won the advance passes, but it was worth a free screening, it was a about a conflict I knew almost nothing about, and focused on a personal story instead of a broad nation wide story, crowe is good in the lead, not too over heroic or dramatic, kurylenko is good as always in her role, I just wish she had more roles period, and jai courtney in a rare non blockbuster role, is actually pretty good in a dramatic non showy role, I think he could do well in roles like that, it was good seeing the 2 sides - the aussies and turkish, working together and not letting prejudices get in the way (for the most part) an impressive debut for crowe.
