Mostly couples in the Old Geezers Who Go To The Matinee Alone crowd and not even a false alarm fire warning chilled them. Most of them only go to one movie a year and think they are all comedies so lots of inappropriate laughter.
Russell Crowe stars in and directed this drama what mostly takes place in Turkey following WWI. The movie is very well intentioned and mostly hits all the right spots. I think some of the action scenes, not all of them, were unnecessary and the romantic sub-plot is contrived.
Crowe is, as always, pretty good and Olga Kurylenko was excellent and pretty easy to look at. I wish I could give this 5 stars, but frankly 4 is the best I can do. Recommended as good, not excellent.
