Question: What differentiates this serial killer flick from the dozen or so meh post Silence of the Lambs wannabes? Answer: Keanu Reeves, the lamest and probably worst serial killer I have ever encountered in cinema.
I wanted to pop him every time he smiled or hopped about to a Rob Zombie film. And whatâ??s the deal with his video vision? Lame. James Spader is playing the thankless foil. He is haunted by his past failings.
He has headaches. He will get his man. Blah, blah, blah. Marisa Tomei has an even more thankless role as Spaderâ??s shrink. Also, the filmâ??s goofy fiery climax is utterly laughable. Worst Effects Ever.
