Review of The Watch (2012) by Don S — 09 Dec 2017
Remember when Ben Stiller movies were above average? Yeah, what happened to that? This is an asinine comedy which makes police look inept, makes light of serious topics like infertility, and is chock full of vulgar humor.
It's the humor that won me over. Don't know why, I like gross jokes. When an employee is murdered at his Costco, Stiller goes to the high school football game to enlist the community for help with a neighborhood watch.
Three screwball men respond. The movie goes in a different direction than you'd imagine, when they find out aliens (the outer space kind) are involved. Merely watchable.
