This movie had so much potential. Who doesn't want to see "Ninjas Vs. Cowboys"? Unfortunately we Americans seem to make better ninja movies now a days than the people who gave us ninjas.

First problem was there was no actual fighting. Our hero simply swung his sword and his opponent was dead instantly.

Second, I understand ninja movies all carry the same clichÃÂ (C)s; Ninjas have soft spots for Babies, Little Fuzzy Animals, and Women. But when you write these stories, there MUST be a balance. 1 Part Sappy Story, 2 Part Fighting. There was Way to much of an attempt to develop a story in this movie. The other sad part is that there wasn't a single character in it you would have any emotional attachment too.

I did learn something from this movie though. Where ever ninjas battle, it Cherry Blossoms will fall from the sky. No matter where in the world you are.

Kate Bosworth looking hot did not save the movie. And her cheesy terrible hick accent did nothing for her character. Simply shut up and get naked. (she does neither).

This a straight to DVD at best.
