Review of The Warrior's Way (2010) by The Dead S — 27 Mar 2011
I found interest in only very few spots with this film. The visuals were good to a point and some minor concepts within attained entertainment status. The acting is what is expected of a comic book film. I like Geoffrey Rush, but watch Mystery Men for a much better (comic book movie) performance. And as far as that goes, the writing was of a similar vein, but I've experience far better writing in other comic book movies. The CG was not great, but whatever. I didn't care at that point. I was bored. I had conversations while the film droned on, two people went to bed and the other fell asleep in the chair. There was something better to do for most of our audience when watching this turkey. I soldiered on to the very end.
The shame of it is that cowboys versus ninjas is an awesome concept. Ruined. Ruined, I say.
