Review of The Warrior's Way (2010) by Tuna M — 29 Mar 2011
Overall this film was silly, too over the top and bad acting, but I did dig Geoffrey Rush's character, the drunk sniper cowboy. It started all well, slow motion samurai swordplay, but when the main dude from the east went to the west (USA), it totally dragged on.
But the showdown at the end was pretty good, the final battle, Ninjas vs. Cowboys vs. Clowns. The film's details suggest potential for a lively, bizarre, action-comedy cult classic. It just never comes together the way it needs to.
