Review of The Warrior's Way (2010) by David B — 31 Mar 2011
Another film that, due to it being marketed as a martial arts movie, could only disappoint given the mere 15-20 minutes of martial arts (mainly sword)fights screen time... with the remaining dialogue and acting absolutely terrible, if not ludicrous (I canâ??t believe Geoffrey Rush agreed to act in this third-rate East-meets-West western.
.. while the lead Korean actor manages to remain totally expressionless for the duration of the film!); apart from the few longer swordfight choreographies, the only redeeming aspect is its visual feel with gorgeous enhanced, bleached colors making some of the desert/sunset/star-scapes quite breathtaking.
