Review of The Warrior's Way (2010) by Steinar O — 20 Apr 2011
Ok martial arts/western. I'm not a big fan of either genre's but thought this looked interesting so gave it a go. A warrior becomes the greatest ever swordsman but makes a mistake when he takes the baby of a rival family he's killed so now the group he used to fight with against him so he runs away to a small town but obviously trouble follows him.
This aint bad with a few good fight scenes but it kept reminding me of Jonah Hex(as this came out around the same time as the film i'm guessing the comic was an influence) and it started as more of a comedy then turned into more of an action thriller later instead of keeping a mix of the two throughout which made it feel uneven.
That aside, it was a pretty cool idea to mix the 2 genre's and the last half hour or so is really good but overall this could have been so much better.
