Review of The Warrior's Way (2010) by Dave A — 12 Jul 2011
The plot is all over the place, the action silly and over the top, and dialogue was written by a 5th grader, but it still has that so bad it's good vibe to it. Especially when you see Warrior carry around the baby!! Funny stuff, although it cannot carry the movie.
The DVD menu, which showcases the best of the CGI-laden fight sequences, is the best part of the movie. Kate Bosworth, is the most random casting choice, but even more funny is Geoffrey Rush! Surprisingly, he's pretty good!
The basic story is about a man who becomes the best warrior EVER and how he tries to lead a normal life in a quiet Western town. His past catches up and he must make a decision. Nintendo 64 graphics of gore ensue!! Yaaaay.
Only mildly thrilling, Warrior's Way is ultimately forgettable. A B-movie without substance, really only a rental if your friend pays. Thanks Andrew!
