The special effects took a bit of getting used to, but they were amazing. The fight scenes were fantastic and the cast was wonderful. I had my doubts about Bosworth in this role, but with the cast of adorable freak show folk she was a great fit.

This movie had a solid story which is usually lacking in any kind of martial arts movie. The real and the supernatural were blended very well in this. The conclusion was not the happiest, but it ended exactly how it needed to.
