Review of The Warrior's Way (2010) by Jary B — 13 Aug 2011
The Warrior's Way is not without it's merits, however, the overuse of CGI is often distracting and obvious. There were a few scenes where the computer graphics were done well such as sunsets and rainy backgrounds, but for the most part it was overdone and "fakey".
The dialog was "corny" and in some parts was quite funny despite the serious nature it was trying to convey. The exciting scenes were few and far between and sometimes looked odd combined with slow motion effects which sometimes made it hard to tell what was going on.
There were good parts and bad parts but overall it failed to impress because the short parts that were really exciting became overshadowed by the ugly.
