Review of The Warrior's Way (2010) by Nay Nay B — 11 Sep 2011
If the whole movie was as strong as the first 15 minutes then it would have been a 5 star action adventure movie. But it isn't paced well, and the characters are so blah that they don't even come of as unlikeable-y good.
Even Geoffrey Rush is disappointing. Danny Huston does deliver as a villain, most of the scenes he isn't in end in an un-invested faux-anime themed fight where the action provokes no sense of danger.
The style is also off-putting enough to make the hour and forty minute mark seem like an eternity.
