Review of The Warrior's Way (2010) by Bret B — 19 Sep 2011
I should love this. (1)Martial arts master assassin, (2) Traveling sideshow circus, (3) The old west. All the ingredients were there but they did not know how to cook. Poor directing, dreadful performances (except Geoffrey Rush).
The action scenes were far too few (also sub-par, too much slow-mo, and overly stylized), especially in relation to all the romantic pap. What a waste, forget this movie. Watch "The Good, the Bad and the Weird" or "13 Assassins" instead.
