Review of The Warrior's Way (2010) by Aaron O — 02 Jan 2012
Maybe three stars is a bit generous. The basic plot is strangely similar to Mel Brooks' Blazing Saddles, however it's executed with far less comedy and the addition of mystical sword-wielding Asian warrior assassins.
For a film that is fairly gruesome, it's somehow beautiful in terms of it's visual style, depth and vibrant use of colour. Poor acting. Not a film for the hard critics but might be fun in the right company.
