Review of The Warrior's Way (2010) by Alvaro T — 15 Jan 2011
No question this is a silly film, and without the eccentricities it would have had even more potential, but this is still one of the most entertaining films of the year. a more traditional samurai background fused with a western still hasnt been done well in a long time, probably since shogun, but this wets the appetite for that style of film and has some solid fight sequences.
this is the type of film many will criticize, but I love westerns and I love japanese martial arts films, and the fusion here kept me more than interested.
