The cult classic still holds up. The Warriors' journey from the Bronx to Coney Island while every gang is hunting for them still is fun. It is a shame that the stylized gangs (like the cool Baseball Furies) are underused.
There are a few other script problems like Thomas G. Waites' character's unplanned death (he got fired) and no direction for his proposed girlfriend Deborah Van Valkenburgh, but the movie isn't too hurt by it.
Can the Warriors come out to play?
