Review of The Warriors (1979) by Ryan V — 03 Aug 2016
There's an otherworldly vibe of desolation and a post apocalyptic tone at play. The fighting and gangs are over the top, but you completely buy them within the world they inhabit. This is a text book example of a cult classic; infinitely memorable in ways that lifeless, modern day CGI fests can never be.
