Review of The Ward (2010) by Bri L — 30 Jun 2011
John Carpenter is known for his exceptionally good genremovies (Halloween, The Thing, Prince of Darkness) and his not so exceptionally good genremovies (Ghosts of Mars, Big Trouble in Little China). This falls right smack in the middle.
Pretty mediocre movie about young girl who gets harrassed by a ghost in mental hospital. Amber Heard (Drive Angry) and Lyndsy Fonseca (Kick-Ass) were exceptionally beautiful and did good job in acting part too.
Film would be instantly forgotten if there weren't rather decent surprise-ending. Atleast I couldn't guess it on advance.
