Review of The Ward (2010) by Dennylliam R — 28 Oct 2011
The Ward was one of the best "traditional thrillers" I have seen yet! Many people are into the "hardcore" thrillers, but I have a family that I would love to share an old fashion scary movie with.
This was the perfect "R" rated family friendly film(especially for my 12 and 14 year old). I applaud the genius behind the creation of this movie. No sexual content, 2 profanities and the rest is the "sitting at the edge of your seat" and "jump back scare" we have missed in the modernized horror movie era.
For those of you that have children, you understand my point of view...I hope. I recommend the movie to family movie watchers. The "R" is just for the violence and some gore. Thank you Michael and Shawn Rasmussen! And John Carpenter, we needed those types if movies to "comeback".
