John Carpenter's first film in ten years is a perfectly good horror movie. There's nothing new on offer here but it delivers a nice story although somewhat generic of the 'nuthouse horror movie'.
It effortlessly beats the majority of American horror movies and doesn't result to extreme gore and cheap tricks to do so.
