Review of The War Room (1993) by Devan R — 10 Jun 2007
Not superb storytelling as documentaries go, but awesome in terms of the information presented. Even though we have all watched the West Wing and thus know all the tricks of presidential politics (we think), it's fascinating to see young and vital James Carville, George Stephanopolous, Paul Begala, and others conniving behind the scenes.
Now that they're all CNN talking heads, it's quite interesting seeing them as idealistic Machiavellians doing everything imaginable to put their guy in office.
