Review of The War on Democracy (2007) by Ufuk K — 27 Sep 2007
Very good documentary from a very talented journalist. The film powerfully documents how the US cannot leave Latin America alone and in trying to "bring democracy" to those countries, how it turned them into totalitarian regimes with devastating human costs.
I would highly recommend the film even just for the closing narrative alone. Unfortunately, the film had very little media coverage, and thus is not popularly known. If you want something out of the ordinary, go for it.
