Review of The War on Democracy (2007) by Private U — 07 Jul 2008
Conventionally made documentary by veteran journo John Pilger. The bit about Venezualla is interesting, but if you have been paying attention to US foreign policy in South America the rest of the movie will be old news.
Lots of talking heads and didatic voice over. Feels a bit like a sermon. Good subject matter but boring approach to telling this important story.
