Classic Sci-Fi Films At It's Best With This Excellent Take On A Classic Story. Although Not Close To The Original Material, 1953's War Of The Worlds Has A Great Classic Sense Of Chilling Atmosphere.
The Film Also Uses Some Very Decent SFX (Which Would Have Been State Of The Art At The Time). Get A Good Director (Byron Haskin), The Right Cast, Some Really Good Writers & This Is The Outcome American 50's Sci-Fi Cinema At It's Best.
