Review of The War of the Roses (1989) by Mike C — 21 May 2005
As you know, I work at a movie theatre, and it's been kind of busy this week (wonder why?). So I needed to watch a comedy that I had seen many times to help get over being tired. So I chose The War of the Roses.
This movie is one of those that's good for watching if your doing something else, like homework. You just put it in and whenever you get sick of writing or reading, you look up, and there is Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner attempting to murder each other because they can't agree on who should get the house from the divorce, with Danny DeVito in the middle trying to break it up.
It's a good example for divorcing couples today. If you can't agree on what to do with something you both share, sell it and split the profit, or you may end up dead. And if that happens, your story will become The War of the Roses 2.
