Review of The Wall (2017) by Jared M — 21 May 2017
I wanted to give this movie 4 maybe even 4 1/2 stars, but the ending undercuts the entirety of the movie. I appreciate seeing top billing names work on an indie budget. The performances are good and the directing is fine, but the script's ending just feels like a writing exercise that should have been left on the cutting room floor.
When you think the movie is done, leave! It was like eating a really good meal then the waiter throws a pie in your face as he brings the check.
