Review of The Walker (2007) by Steven B — 21 Oct 2008
This movie lost me at "hello." That almost never happens. It also dragged on at a pace slower than Woody Harrelson's drawl. Willem Dafoe is in this, but was used to play an armchair. Moritz Bleibtreu, treue Seele, is cute as ever, but his english is still rather german-hued, not convincingly turkish.
The "seedy underworld - glimpse of the dark side of DC" scenes are particularly disjointed. Hard to believe this film is by the same guy who gave us "Taxi Driver.".
