The 3D effects alone make this movie worth seeing in the theatre. I've never in my movie seeing experience had my fear of heights come into play. I literally held my breath several times during the final act.
I saw Everest a few weeks ago in IMAX 3D and lauded it's special effects. The Walk is even better. Good story and tremendous special effects. I didn't like it as much as I did The Martian earlier this week, but The Walk may have been a better movie going experience.
