Review of The Walk (2015) by Torion O — 10 Oct 2015
A remarkable moment in history brought about in the most beautiful way, not only visually but emotionally. I am glad that this was made into a movie, because surprisingly a lot of people didn't know this was a true story.
The madness and inspiration Philippe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) has is incredibly relatable, at least to me, and is driven home because it is real. This is what the WTC should have been remembered for, and it is truly saddening when at the end the camera pans to the twin towers for the last shot.
To sum up in three words: Inspiring and heartfelt.
