Review of The Walk (2015) by Wade T — 23 Feb 2016
Watched this recently. In sum, guy narrates his own story: 1) develops obsession with high-wire walking. 2) lets obsession dominate him. 3) sees World Trade Center buildings as his pinnacle high-wire act.
4) Breaks the law and makes the walk. 5) Becomes hero for daring and bravery. So the question raised by this story, is this the tale of an altruistic individual, or the public fascination with a lunatic? Overall nice film with no boring segments.
Decent story and great cinematography.
