Review of The Walk (2015) by Chris F — 22 Jan 2016
The Walk is a thrilling and interesting movie from director Robert Zemeckis. I loved his direction in this film. It really felt like you were on top of this wire. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is really good in his role.
His French accent distracts a little in the beginning, but by the end you get used to it. The supporting cast was good, but they were really interchangeable. With the exception of Charlotte Le Bon and Ben Kingsley, I didn't know who the rest of the guys are.
You really didn't care about these characters. I liked the heist elements of the film. It felt like a good con film. The humor didn't always work but it wasn't horrible. Overall, this is an exciting film with a thrilling ending and great direction from Robert Zemeckis.
