Worth it for the final 45 minutes. If you can see it in IMAX 3D it's one of the best visual experiences you'll have at the cinema. The first hour is ok if a little dull, but the last act more than makes up for that.
You'll squirm in your seat as he starts to walk across the twin towers. My advice would be to not find out anything about the true story until after you've seen the film as it adds to it. I knew nothing about the true story beforehand and it's amazing.
