The Koreans do great cinema (Snowpiercer, Morher, Oldboy, The Host to name a few), but this is just dreadful. I give it two stars for cinematography, musical score, and other technical aspects of filmmaking, but this is a pile of convoluted drivel.
There were moments that were riveting, but overall it was too long, tried too hard, and was simply too confusing.
