Review of The Wailing (2016) by Dan K — 08 Oct 2016
You know, for the length, it did manage to captivate and keep a viewer guessing as to the mystery behind such hellish hauntings. But the tossing, turning, and back and forth between the who-did-what, was unclear and it leaves a climax dull and lacking.
As far as everything else goes, this is a perfect Korean thriller that showcases modern day Japanese and Korean horror from folklore. Even if left unsatisfied, the movie does a great job leading you to the end, with household terror and village urban legend frights.
