This is a great movie one if the best ever made Clouzot made a film that is considered equal or even better by some people than the best of Hitchcocks efforts...thats a bold statement considering Hitchcock is known as the "Master of Suspense.
The build up is done so well the way the characters are introduced to the audience is flawless. The journey to deliver the nitro is such a simple but done so well your hanging onto the edge of your seat during the "white knuckle ride" right as along with Jo, Luigi, Mario, and Bumba.
