Review of The Wager (2007) by Clinton V — 14 Sep 2009
Meh. I don't have a problem w/ Christian films even though they're usually lower budgeted than mainstream films, but this one drove me nuts. I think what bothered me the most was Travis's character seemed to be on some kind of drug trip most of the movie. The other problem was the usual predictability of this type of film. Only one event caught me by surprise, and that was only because it was so ridiculous, and even that led to yet one more predictable part of the ending.
And seeing Balki play a jerk and T.J. Tanner play a tramp both were a bit jarring. :p.
