Review of The Wackness (2008) by Christopher C — 18 Apr 2009
With a hot young cast, stylish directing and a vintage hip-hop soundtrack, this is the work of a groovy young filmmaker and a competent one at that. However, it's patchy, resting far too much on cool NY attitude and music to prop the narrative up.
Ben Kingsley seems really out of place in this film as well, usually stealing the scenes for all the wrong reasons.
