Definitely a chick flick. But, a good one. Nice done. I think we need our society to have more faith, more belief in the possible rather than the divisive, defeatist cynicism that is rampant in our intolerant misguided American society.
Yeah. That's a mouthful but it is on point. I like movies like this once in a while. Believing in good has such a powerful effect on whole societies. That's the message in this movie.
Now, this is coming from a 58 year old guy who loves good sci-fy movies, aggressive action flicks like Bourne, great westerns like Lonesome Dove and the old John Wayne classics. I can't get enough of goofy, crazy comedies when they're well done.
All of that and I like this movie right along with The Notebook, Pay it Forward, and so on.
GO see it and believe in the possible. Good story and good acting.
